  1. STOP EATING SO FAST

There are No teeth in your oesophagus to break down your food, so take your time to chew your food for proper digestion to take place.

  • TAKE TIME TO SAVOUR YOUR MEAL

This is a brilliant exercise. Before consuming your meal, examine its texture, aroma and taste as you put it into your mouth. With this, you are allowing your tongue to know delicious meals.

  • TAKE CONSCIOUS BREAKS FOR MEALS

No matter how busy you are, take deliberate breaks to eat and eat well.

  • DRINK WATER!

Drink water before your meal to ascertain if you are truly hungry or actually just dehydrate

  • DON’T COOK AND EAT WHEN IN A BAD MOOD

Ensure you use cooking as a relaxing activity. You can overeat when you are not in a good mood so, avoid it.

  • DON’T MULTITASK

Focus on your food while you eat, do away with your phone!
