After sharing a life lesson upon watching, Squid Game, the net-breaking South Korean series, Nigerian singer, Burna Boy is back with another take, this time, on the Nigerian government.
The Afrobeats star took a swipe at Muhammadu Buhari’s government, saying it is hypocritical because of its failure to legalize the sale and consumption of Marijuana, commonly known as weed.
Although Marijuana is still very legal in Nigeria, its use is still very popular among many people in the country.
Burna Boy, in a conversation with a Los Angeles-based media outfit, Home Grown Radio, noted that a lot of people smoke weed in Nigeria but they do not want to be seen with it because it is illegal.

The Grammy award-winning singer stressed that misconception about weed is another reason the Nigerian government has not deemed it fit to pass a law that makes its consumption legal.
Speaking further on the subject, the African Giant stated:
“It’s not a zero-tolerance. It’s like everybody does it, but no one wants to be the one that is seen talking about it. It’s just kind of hypocritical out there.
“They try to make it seem like if you smoke weed you’ll just go mad in Nigeria. Everybody smokes it, it’s just a topic no one wants to talk about.
“No one wants to talk about it; everybody is cool. Nobody wants to make it a thing to advocate for legalization of weed.
According to Burna Boy, he likes visiting Los Angeles, USA, because weed is free in the state and that the best ones are found in the city.
