Recently, DJ Cuppy received the prestigious “Philanthropic Endeavour Leadership Award” from the Best of African Awards (BOA), an event dedicated to celebrating and supporting African-owned philanthropic initiatives while recognizing the outstanding contributions of Africans in the UK.
DJ Cuppy couldn’t contain her excitement and shared her gratitude on Instagram, saying, “Honoured to receive the ‘Philanthropic Endeavour Leadership Award’! Thank you @BOA_Awards. Being African is truly my greatest superpower! #CuppyCares.”
In 2018, she launched the Cuppy Foundation with a mission to provide educational opportunities for thousands of underprivileged Nigerian students. The foundation made waves by organizing the glamorous Gold Gala, attended by numerous billionaires, and raising N5billion to support the Save the Children initiative in Nigeria.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Kings College London, she pursued her passion for music by obtaining a master’s degree in Music Business from New York University.
