As Nigeria continues her fight against the COVID-19 pandemic which ravaged the world, killing millions, the Federal Government has announced that it has uncovered a major fraud in the vaccination process.
According to the Federal Government, people are trying to get vaccination cards without getting vaccinated against the disease.
It also said that it recently arrested a staff of the FCT State Primary Healthcare Development Board and that the suspect is facing prosecution.
WHAT THIS MEANS:
Following this development, the Federal Government, through the Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr. Faisal Shuaib, said:
- He insisted that ongoing COVID-19 vaccination and vaccination cards were free of charge at all designated sites across the 36 states and the FCT, and people should go through the process to avoid prosecution.
