Truth, Wikipedia says, is the property of being in accord with fact or reality. It is typically ascribed to things that aim to represent reality or otherwise correspond to it. Truth, like a torch, lights the path for people, so that they do not lose track of who they are or what makes them human.
There is, however, a deficit in the society, as opinion moulders and influencers, such as preachers, have not done enough to expose their followers to what should actually be considered the truth in all spheres of life.
Consequently, people, in search of truth, commit themselves to certain associations or creeds such as churches, as they believe it will set them free from questions bugging their minds.
Churches are some of the places people seek refuge and get answers to their prayers and other questions. But in getting those answers from preachers, the truth, in some cases, is left out.
In various parts of the world, Nigeria being a case study, preachers of the word have failed to tell their congregation the truth about fornication.

Every human is wired to act in certain ways to touch, especially in certain parts of the body which could stimulate sexual arousal.
Rather tell their congregation that they’re human, sensitive to touch and sure candidates of fornication; what they say is that so long as you have the Holy Spirit, you cannot fall for sexual ‘sins.’ But biologically speaking, that’s not true.
This goes to say that the ‘runs girl’ posing and awaiting a customer to price her ‘market,’ or any other sexually active person, is no different, biologically, from the lady standing on the altar, leading praise and worship and lifting holy hands. The constant stereotyping needs to be laid to rest.
Male church members, some of them, ministers in the church, are not left out of this discussion. These men have eyes and can see. When a physically endowed lady passes by, they’d wish they had a ‘taste’ of that woman even if they (men) are spirit-filled, Holy Ghost-carrying brothers in the Lord. After all, konji must be killed.
Although this piece is not aimed at encouraging indecency or immorality of any sort, it is important for preachers to tell their members the truth, that is, being a Christian goes beyond being ‘filled with the Holy Spirit,’ is not enough to prevent them from fornicating, because erogenous zones such as the wrist, back of the neck, ear, inner thighs and so on, make a person feel the urge for sex and this can ultimately lead to sexual sin.
So, next time you see a lady standing by the roadside and seeking to be ‘patronized,’ do not condemn her because she is biologically made up like the ‘decent’ soul winner in the church.
And to the preachers out there, it’s about time they started talking to their congregation on the need to practice self-control. Just being a Christian doesn’t stop you from fornicating, because when the body feels the urge to get sexually satisfied, there’s very little any sermon can do to stop it.
If this is piece is not telling the TRUTH, as a preacher, conduct your research and you’ll find out that at least one brother or sister, recently knacked someone. That’s how the body works.
The purpose of this piece is also to encourage people to practice abstinence as it saves them the headache of pregnancy, Sexual Transmitted Diseases (STDs), and disappointment from other parties- male or female.
